Editor's Note: Scott deserves credit as part of all GIMPS finds from G3 on.  George Woltman requested that after the specific primes listed above, GIMPS would stand collectively for Woltman, Kurowski and the others involved in their search. 

Scott Kurowski is a software development manager and entrepreneur, living in San Diego, California.  He founded Entropia, Inc. which provides the PrimeNet server to distributes exponents and collect Mersenne tests results from the hundreds of thousands of computers involved in GIMPS.  PrimeNet allows these computers in virtually every time zone in the world to effectively operate as single, massively-parallel supercomputer.
