Charles Robert Darwin was born in England on 2/12/1809. The Royal Mint celebrates the bicentenary of his birth, 2/12/2009, with a special commemorative issue of the two pound coin showing, on the reverse, a portrait of Darwin facing a chimpanzee surrounded by the inscription 1809 DARWIN 2009. Curiously, 2121809, 2122009, and 21218092009 (2/12/1809-2009) are all prime. [Green]
