GIMPS has discovered a new largest known prime number: 282589933-1 (24,862,048 digits)

+ The first term in a prime quadruplet whose four terms are Cyclops primes. Note that removing the 6's forms the smallest Cyclops prime, 101, with the same property. [Punches]
