GIMPS has discovered a new largest known prime number: 2^{82589933}1 (24,862,048 digits) (2 * 2521)  1 = 71^{2} and 2 * (2521  1) = 7!. [Forslund] 2521 minus one is the smallest EPRN. 2521^{2} = 1456^{3}  1455^{3}, i.e., one solution to the Diophantine equation z^{2} = x^{3}  y^{3}.
