GIMPS has discovered a new largest known prime number: 2^{82589933}1 (24,862,048 digits) The smallest Fibonacci prime index that is currently an Australian postcode (Emerald, Queensland). 4723 is the smallest prime that can be expressed as the sum of the same prime powers of eleven consecutive primes. I.e., 4723 = 3^2 + 5^2 + 7^2 + 11^2 + 13^2 + 17^2 + 19^2 + 23^2 + 29^2 + 31^2 + 37^2.
