GIMPS has discovered a new largest known prime number: 2^{82589933}1 (24,862,048 digits) 703 is equal to the alternating sum and difference of the squares of the integers from 1 to 703's largest prime factor. [Ohlson] 703 is the smallest base3 strong pseudoprime that does not have the form (3^p1)/2, where p is prime. 703 is the only composite number less than two thousand that is a strong pseudoprime to more than one of the first four primes (to both bases 7 and 3).
