GIMPS has discovered a new largest known prime number: 2^{82589933}1 (24,862,048 digits) The largest prime of the form 2# + 3# + 5# + ... + n#  1 is for n = 379. The others are for n = 3, 5, 11, 13, 17, 19, 31, 43, 73, 179, 181, 191 and 373. Because the expression is divisible by 463 for n = 461, more primes are not possible.
