# 99999...99999 (5749-digits)

This 5749-digit prime is both a 'near-repdigit' (with all digits but one alike) and a palindrome. It is formed by concatenating (stringing together) 2874 9s, a 2, and 2874 9s. Harvey Dubner discovered it in 1989. [Dobb]
