GIMPS has discovered a new largest known prime number: 2^{82589933}1 (24,862,048 digits) The start of a curious sequence of circulardigit primes, i.e., 6089, 60899, 608999, 6089999, 60899999, 608999999. [Earls] The first occurrence of a twin prime pair (6089, 6091) that both consist of a nonprime number of nonprime digits only. Note that the larger member is an invertible prime which turned upside down corresponds also to the larger member (1609) of a twin prime pair.
