GIMPS has discovered a new largest known prime number: 2^{82589933}1 (24,862,048 digits) 701, 7001, 70001, and 700001 are each prime. [Brown] 2^{701} + 701 is prime. [Honaker and De Geest] This prime can be written as 5^{4} + 4^{3} + 3^{2} + 2^{1} + 1^{0}.
