GIMPS has discovered a new largest known prime number: 282589933-1 (24,862,048 digits)

Jon Grantham developed the idea of Frobenius pseudoprime to generalize many of the standard types of pseudoprimes (Fermat, Lucas...), and to make the tests more accurate.  Though his definition is beyond the level of this glossary, a link to his papers is available below.
