GIMPS has discovered a new largest known prime number: 2^{82589933}1 (24,862,048 digits) A sequence is an ordered list of values (finite or infinite). Formally, an infinite sequence is a function whose domain is the set of positive integers {1,2,3,4,5...}, and a finite sequence with n terms is a function whose domain is the set {1,2,3,...,n}.
