Vinogradov's theorem

Vinogradov's theorem states that every sufficiently large odd integer is a sum of at most 3 primes. It is closely related to both Goldbach's and Waring's prime number conjectures and named after Russian mathematician Ivan Matveyevich Vinogradov (1891-1983).
