Samuel Yates, in his articles ‎"Titanic Primes" [Yates84]‎ and ‎"Sinkers of the Titanics" [Yates85]‎, defined a titanic prime to be a prime at least 1,000 digits and defined the titans to be those who discover and prove the primality of titanic primes. These pages lists brief "biographical" data for each titan, for each of the main programs and the most successful groups.
